I loved having tea and coffee making facilities in my room. The location amidst paddy fields and tea plantations was jaw-droppingly beautiful. I felt like part of the family and had an unforgettable experience.

We got serious value for our money at Arawe Retreat in Ella. The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the beds were luxurious. The location was perfect, tucked away in the middle of the forest but still just a short walk from town. The staff treated us like family, offering to collect us from the train station and giving us a lift when it was raining. The breakfast was out of this world, with the chef serving up the most delicious food at the open kitchen.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to all the restaurants and shops. the view from the front of the property was stunning, with the mountains in the background and the train passing through. the host was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh and healthy local ingredients.

One night, we had a power cut and there was no backup lighting in the cottage, it would have been helpful to have a torch provided in the room.

It provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the rooms are clean and well-furnished, with an incredible shower room that will leave you amazed. the host, Ishanka, is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. the breakfast served here is traditional Sri Lankan and delicious, enjoyed with a breathtaking view of the surrounding paradise.

One of the bedrooms requires you to go outside on the veranda to access the bathroom.

Breakfast surrounded by chirping birds, quirky cottage, and being the only guest made me feel like royalty. I even had a friendly squirrel as my companion. Loved it!

Our room had some issues that detracted from our overall experience. the sheets had noticeable stains on them and the bathroom floor mats were not clean.

I also loved that it was within walking distance from the city center. The breakfast served was excellent, and I couldn't resist the delicious Sri Lankan pancakes. The friendly dogs and cat kept my daughter entertained, and we even spotted fireflies at night. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly exceptional experience.
